Scott is a long time Apple enthusiast whose first personally owned computer was the original 128k Macintosh. He has 20 years technical experience working for a Fortune 500 company doing everything from installing and repairing semiconductor test equipment to web application development.
Scott loves his Apple devices, but has a rather strained relationship with Siri, as any listener to the podcast is well aware. So far Siri has let him live, but this could change at any time. Scott has started his daughter on the path to success by ensuring that she uses only Apple products for her computing devices.
Scott can be found on Twitter at @scottaw, on app.net at @scottaw, or use @pocketpodcast for the podcast Twitter feed. Scott also inflicts audio pain with Not Speeding In Reverse along with Peter Nikolaidis.
Ronnie loves tech, but mainly focuses on Apple products now. He started computing with a Commodore 64 and a tape drive, so get off his grass! Ronnie enjoyed (didn’t know any better) Windows until he bought his first iMac two and a half years ago. He loves history, and in another lifetime wanted to be a history teacher.
Ronnie lives in Las Vegas with his beautiful wife and two kids. He has worked in retail management for the past 13 years.
Peter is the founder and owner of Paradigm Consulting, with years of OS X, Windows, and Linux experience. As former co-host of the now defunct Fresh Ubuntu podcast, Peter was proclaimed to be an open source legend by his listeners. Or it might have been proclaimed by himself.
Peter has an iPhone and iPad, and likes to send indecipherable messages transcribed with Siri to Scott whenever possible. He also continuously tells whoever will listen how wonderful Downcast is.
